Ambient Night Productions return following their acclaimed production of Up Pompei to tempt you with another comedy of a different era and genre. Noel Coward’s comedy “Present Laughter” was first performed in 1942 and has had numerous stage revivals over the years as well as radio and TV productions.
As he prepares to embark on an overseas tour, star actor Garry Essendine’s colourful life is in danger of spiralling out of control. Engulfed by an escalating identity crisis as his many and various relationships compete for his attention, Garry’s few remaining days at home are a chaotic whirlwind of love, sex, panic and soul-searching. Present Laughter is a hilariously giddy and surprisingly modern reflection on fame, desire and loneliness.
Tickets; £14.00
