About Us
The Museum of Cannock Chase is part of Inspiring Healthy Lifestyles, a campaigning charity that aims to inspire people to be active, creative and healthy. Located on the site of the former Valley Colliery, which later became the mining training centre for the Cannock Chase Coalfield, the museum is gateway to the Hednesford Hills Nature Reserve. It is an ideal starting point for a visit to Cannock Chase, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
