As part of the regeneration of Norton Canes ‘Cema’ park, Cannock Chase Council approached Creative Development to work with them in creating art features for the site. Through community consultation events, and linking to local groups, it was agreed that the proposed art features should focus on the heritage and future of Norton Canes. Local company, Planet Art, were commissioned to develop and create the features, which resulted in 3 stainless steel installations, situated at the entrances to the park. The art features depict barges, pit ponies, kite flying and the flora and fauna of the area.
