Come along to our Community Testing Day!
Chase Creatures is a new augmented reality trail created by local schoolchildren working alongside professional artists and the Cannock Chase Special Area of Conservation (SAC) Partnership. The aim of the project is to raise awareness and appreciation of the special and unique qualities found on Cannock Chase, and how to protect it for future generations. Each Chase Creature represents one of the messages of the Cannock Chase Code.
Are you coming along to our ‘Community Testing Day’ on 20 May, 12pm – 3pm at Marquis Drive, Hednesford?
Here’s a few things you’ll need to do before you get to the site:
IMPORTANT – *To undertake the Chase Creatures AR Test Challenge, you will need a smart phone with data, charged to at least 50% and if you have an iPhone you will need version IOS 15.*
- Download the Cannock Chase Can App – available on Android/ IOS. (Instructions below)
- Set-up an account and answer your ‘Wellness Wheel’ questions.
- Once you have completed the questions, the Chase Creatures Challenge can be found under the ‘Move Well’ section.
- To access the challenge, you will need to watch the introduction video on the Move Well section.
- Once you have watched the video, you are ready to take on the challenge.
One the day:
- Staff will be based at Marquis Drive Visitor Centre on the testing day, if you have any questions – come and say hello!
- The challenge begins at the RAF Hednesford Commemoration Stone at Marquis Drive.
- Please return back to the Visitor Centre after you have completed the challenge, to complete the testing feedback.
