Cannock Park Tales Trail – Launching Early Summer!
The Cannock Park Tales Trail is a brand-new creative journey designed to celebrate and bring to life the rich history of Cannock Park. Through poetry, storytelling, and imaginative artwork placed throughout the park, the trail invites visitors of all ages to explore, discover, and connect with the stories that shape this much‑loved green space.
At each stop along the way, you’ll find poems, illustrations, and creative pieces inspired by the park’s past and present — all developed by local schoolchildren, SEND students, and PRU students, working in collaboration with professional artists. Their ideas, artwork, and voices sit at the heart of the project, making the trail a true community creation.
The project has also been proudly supported by the Friends of Cannock Park, whose passion and commitment have helped bring these stories off the page and into the park.
