The Chase Community Canvas calendar is now on sale and every purchase supports a forthcoming project to record the memories of Cannock Chase’s miners and their families. Created by local group CHAPS (Chase Arts for Public Spaces), the calendar features artwork from community groups and schools celebrating the beauty of our area.
The calendar, priced at £9.99, features artwork from groups across the Cannock Chase district including Norton Canes Watercolour Club, Stand by Me Men’s Group, Catherine Care and Hednesford Valley High School.
Funds raised will help CHAPS develop a digital heritage exhibition, preserving our mining stories for future generations. Available locally and online got to the CHAPS Facebook page to get your copy and support this important project.
