Time travel, spend the morning the Stone Age and the afternoon in the Iron Age
Move with the seasons as a hunter gatherer
Survival skills – make nettle cordage, willow weave fish traps and keep warm in Winter
Iron Age – wool spinning and clay pot making
Castle Ring – visit the remains of the Iron Age hill fort with a guided walk
Cost from £7.00 per child, maximum 30 children per day. Available Summer term only,
Please note: children need to wear suitable outdoor clothing and shoes as much of the day is outside. The school is responsible for transport between sites. Castle Ring is a scheduled ancient monument that does not have toilet facilities.
