Adalia Mynett – Inhabited Landscape

Museum Of Cannock Chase
The museum is delighted to welcome landscape artist Adalia Mynett for her first exhibition here. Initially influenced by the Welsh Landscape during her studies at Aberystwyth University, landscape has since offered Adalia a way to explore her current surroundings. Since her relocation to the Midlands, her work has shifted from exclusively natural imagery, to scenes that depict the gradual infiltration of modern-day life.

Here in Hednesford, we sit on the border of England’s smallest AONB, Cannock Chase, but have clear visibility of Birmingham’s skyline. Intrigued by the contrast of our surroundings, set in-between the rural and the urban, Adalia’s exhibition will reflect upon the varied qualities of the place we inhabit, through the medium of paint.

The museum is closed on a Sunday and Monday.
