Hello, I am Maria Credali, a professional storyteller, trained creative mentor and teacher based in Lichfield. My passion is helping people to discover and develop their creativity through storytelling.
Traditional oral storytelling increases communication skills, confidence, concentration and creativity. Oral storytelling is particularly useful for children who struggle with written tasks, staying focused, or have English as a second language. You will be amazed by the way children engage with traditional storytelling.
Recent clients include The Royal Shakespeare Company, and I am resident storyteller at Tamworth Castle. In summer 2022 I worked with a KS2 group to develop an outstanding shared performance for Festival at the Edge, England’s most prestigious storytelling festival.
